GHB blackout

hi,

I have just read your info on GHB & wanted to tell you my story.

I was at a club & wanted to take GHB because it was this new thing that everyone did. I had done it once before & took a little bit of it loved it. So the next night I asked for it again. I never really knew how much I was supposed to take & I was late getting to the club & everyone else was already
"up there" so I took 2 capfulls of it.

After like 10 min. I felt like I was really drunk. I couldn't stop laughin & I couldn't even walk. At this point I still loved the stuff. then I started getting really tired so I said I was gonna take a nap on the sofa. I told 1 of my friends to make sure noone bothered me or stole my purse & they said they'll watch me. I also wanted them to keep waking me up to make sure I didn't pass out.

Well when I finally woke up I was in the hospital. I was so high I could barely see - everything was all "wooshy". I didn't know where I was, my name, my friends names or where I had come from. No parents, no friends, just strangers talking to me. I was also in restraints so I couldn't move. well here's what happened in between...at least this is what I was told because I don't remember any of it.

When the club was almost over my friends tried to wake me up & I wouldn't wake up. They started lightly smacking me & yelling at me. I wouldn't move. they picked my head up & I had foam coming out of my mouth & they got scared & started smacking me very hard. My head just went flying
all around . They poured water on my head & finally decided I had to go to the hospital.

Someone checked my pulse & said it was so faint & slow & they couldn't see me breathing at all. They took me outside the club where the whole club let out & saw me lying in the middle of the street. Everyone who saw me thought I was already dead. Through all of this I never opened my eyes. They also said when they picked me up I was "dead weight". When they took me to the hospital they sat me in the wheelchair & they said for a second I opened my eyes, looked straight through my friend, straight up at the sky, & my eyes rolled back into my head & my head flung back again.

My friend said she'll "never forget that- you only can look through someone when you're about to die." Well when I got into the hospital they pumped my stomach & hooked me up to a life support machine, I.V., catheder, heart monitor, ventilating machine & had charcoal doses going through tubes into my
stomach. The hospital said I was in a coma for 3-4 hours.

Well when I got to the hospital they had no clue what was wrong w/me. They had never heard of G.H.B. before & didn't know what to do with me. All they could do was treat me as a drug overdose. They had me laying there for about 4 hours & when they saw on the heart monitor that my heart rate was high enough & my vital signs were getting better they woke me up out of my sleep.

That's where I can remember from. I was only in stable condition by now. I remember waking up to some lady calling my name. She told me what she knew & what my friends had told them what happened. I have never been so scared in my entire life waking up & not even knowing my own name.

All they did after that was keep me in observation & on a heart monitor & gave me 4 doses of
charcoal. I recovered was out clubbin 2 days later. I was told after a week or 2 after it happened that I had taken 4 times as much as I was supposed to. I should have only had at the most a half of a capful. If that didn't work then I could have another half a capful a half hour later & that I shouldn't
have even taken 2 whole capfuls in an entire night .

I also had a bruise on my cheek from where my friend kept smackin me. That's how hard he was
hitting me. The whole point of my story is that if there is anything that you guys can do to warn people about this stuff, please do. Since this happened to me about 3 weeks ago, I have seen 7 people "fall out" from this stuff. Some weren't as bad as others. Two nights ago I had to save 2 people at the same time from this. Their friends wouldn't listen to me when I told them to take the dudes to the hospital.

After I screamed & yelled & they started to feel their pulses weaken & heard my story they called the ambulance. We were all just lucky enough to have someone try to wake us up. What happens when someone does this & decides to go home alone & never wakes up? I just want people to know how dangerous this stuff is. The sad part of it is that so many of my friends & people saw what happened to me & still do it.

Almost all of my friends still do it & think that i'm just a lightweight. The "kind" I took was called NRG-3. one other kind I heard of is "Invigorate". I just want everyone to realize that noone knows anything about this & how easy it is to "fall out" from it. Trust me - it's not worth it. I'll even admit that I'm not straight- I'm not some goody tryin to ruin someone's fun just please do what you can to look into this & inform people about it.

thanks.
