I am a Rave Safe volunteer and at the last party ICE (28th Dec 1998) I received quite a shock when a girl was brought in to us in quite a state. She was convulsing and rubbing herself up. I could not get a coherent word out of her. The normal cases at the rave safe tent are stomach aces and first timers who don't know what is happening to themselves, but this girl reaction was just too much.
She was extremely agititated and was screaming and convulsing with each peak of the drug which lasted about 5 to 7 minutes with two minute intervals. When she started coming down she started having hallucinations, which are not associated with normal E trips. So much so that she saw computer chips coming out of my head. We established that she had taken half a capsule, and had only taken once before a year ago.
Once she had finally settled down and the drug was worked out. After 5 hours she left.
She called me two days after the rave and told me that one of her friends had confessed that they had slipped her GHB / Liquid E into her drink.
This is my warning to all people going to raves..... Please be responsible and don't fool yourself that it will never happen to you. We have had two deaths recently due to (and this is not confirmed) double stimulants been taken such as speed and E and the heart could not take the strain.
So please people, slipping micky's into girls or guys drinks is very dangerous and if something happens to that person you could be charged with murder. So rely on your charm or good looks: don't be irresponsible and force people to take drugs voluntary or involuntary or by peer pressure.
Remember E works on body mass so girl be careful you can't take as much as you strapping big boyfriends: quarters or halves will do the trick and remember, less E is more.
The more frequent you take the higher your tolerance and the more strain on your body. Remember your tolerance in the brain rises but not your body so you are approaching lethal doses with the more E's you drop.....
