December 2001: New research done on the long term effects of MDMA This research done recently in The Netherlands shows that there are gender differences of the effects of MDMA (E) on the serotonin system. The effects of dosage are linked to this as well. The research also gives us some more clues on the long term effects of E. Read all about it here Ecstasy Pill Testing has being recognised internationally as an important public health issue. Some countries are lucky enough to have the local health authorities help out with proper pill gas chromatography testing. But for the rest of us, there is a test you can do to help ensure quality control, even avoid bad trips (and death!) from stuff which is often sold as E, like PMA and Atropine. There is much to be said for the marquis reagent E testing kits although there are limitations.
